Central Park

Central Park is one of our favorite place to visit. The feeling that you get when your in the park is perfect serenity. You can lose yourself within the big city. Get a guided tour from Ken Chaya and purchase his map of the park. Get in the row boat at the Boat house and eat at Tavern On The Green. Support the Central Park Conservancy by donating to keep the park clean. Central Park has our hearts.

Grand Central Station - Oyster Bar

The oyster bar is a great experience. Isida and I like to sit up at the bar. The bartenders are expert oyster gurus. Make the most of your visit by getting a wide variety of oysters (they receive them from around the world). Also, you never know if Paul McCartney might be walking through Grand Central Station.

Breads Bakery

Often times in New York you just walk around and stubble upon great places. This is one of those places and it is near Central Park. In my opinion everything here is so good. I will need to ship the Chocolate Rugelach to our house for a everyday snack. Grab a cup of coffee and a danish and stroll through the park. Fun fact: The chocolate Chocolate Rugelach is Oprah’s favorite.

Really not to concerned which city has the best pizza. But, this place has great pizza and good atmosphere. It gets packed quickly, so if you don’t want to wait, make sure to get reservations. If you are traveling as a pair, you might get lucky and grab sit at the bar. Regardless, worth the wait.

Stuffed Ice Cream

Isida made me go to this place. If you like combining your food and large portions, this is your place. We had ice cream between a doughnut and then put cereal on top . That is just one of the combinations they offer. You will leave stuffed.

MoMA Museum

Great collection of art and perfect place to visit when it is a rainy day. Enjoy and learn about the most famous paintings in the world. The gift shop is pretty neat so it will be hard to leave the museum empty handed.

DJI (Time Square)

When your walking through Time Square and you see the Brink and Mortar DJI drone store. It is in your best interest to see what they have to offer. See the drones that professional photographers used in blockbuster movies. Not Isida’s cup of tea, but she did enjoy hearing all the stories this specific drone was used for.
